Tomando Conciencia is an NGO that was born in 2006 with the objective of helping childhood through education, health and food supplies. We focus our projects using audio-visual and artistic channels, which help us to show our work to the world in a clear and alternative way.

After a hard month working and an incredible summer in Caquetá, the eight volunteers are back.
During our stay we have been involved in several projects with the children: a video about colombian war victims, a ficcion shortmovie and a documentary about the responsible use of water. We have also helped several students being directors of their first movies. You can see here the results.
The results are better than expected because we have not only learned, we have also buildt a new working space for the children, where they can develop all the ideas and filmming activities.
